Banned Books Week

On September 22, we’re partnering with Brazos Bookstore to present Banned Books Week. Join us from 12 to 3pm at Brazos Bookstore where we’ll be printing event posters live! Letterpress-printed broadsides featuring quotes from infamous banned books, such as Nabokov’s Lolita and D. H. Lawrence’s Women in Love will be for sale. Our foil stamper will also be on site to emblazon each purchased broadside with a print edition number.

We’re pleased to announce our new workshop An Evening of Letterpress workshop series in conjunction with AIGA Houston and Mohawk Paper! We’re kicking the series off with two introduction classes this month, one for professional members and one for student members, with some additional more focused workshops to follow in the coming months.
